I can already see myself using WireGuard in production. For example, when needing a connection between two cluster without too much of a hassle.
WireGuard is a new type of VPN that aims to be simpler to set up and maintain than current VPNs and to offer a higher degree of security. The software is free and open source—it’s licensed GPLv2, the same license as the Linux kernel—which is always a big plus in my book.
Today cryptography is everywhere. Gone are the days where you can connect two services in unencrypted channels. You have to get this concept under your belt if you want to do SecOps. This is a quite extensive resource but if you have the time, it’s worth it for the long run.
